There’s good news for fans of track and field. NBC has revealed that there would be eight nights of primetime coverage of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials on NBC. Last year, the event was unfortunately not aired live, but this year fans can rejoice, and watch their favorite athletes compete in the Olympic trials to secure a place in the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.

It is needless to say that Team USA is a treasure trove of talents. From Sha’Carri Richardson to Noah Lyles, Ryan Crouser and more, the team is filled with a huge list of talents. Naturally, fans would want to watch their favorite track and field athletes qualify for the Olympics.

When and Where to Watch the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials?

Track and field enthusiasts are eager to know where they can watch the 2024 U.S. Olympics Trials. Recently, the founder of Citius Mag posted on his X handle about the schedule captioning, “After last year’s U.S. Track and Field Championships were not aired live on NBC. (There were still six hours of coverage on CNBC + streaming available on USATF.TV+ and Peacock)”. The events will be broadcast on NBC, CNBC, USA Network, and Peacock. Fans can catch their favorite athletes from June 21-24 and June 27-30 in action.

Athletes to Watch Out for in the US Olympic Trials

There are several track and field athletes to look out for in the US Olympic Trials. Noah Lyles, who won the 100m, and 200m, and was part of the winning 4*100 m team at the 2023 World Championships will be a hot favorite in the Olympics. Another favorite, Sha’Carri Richardson, who won gold in the 100m and 4*100m, and bronze in the 200m is guaranteed to leave her impact in the trials, and subsequently in the Olympics.

Speaking of champions, there is Ryan Crouser, who is not just the current world champion and two-time Olympic champion in the shot put, but also the world record holder in the event. Moving on, there is also Grant Holloway, who has won silver in the 2020 Olympics in 110m hurdles.
