Gabby Thomas’s mother, Jennifer Randall, taught the young athlete to be a go-getter. But things were difficult as Thomas grew up in poverty. Despite all the hardships, she got into Harvard and emulated her mother’s academic achievements. It was in Harvard that Thomas began breaking records. Some of her achievements from 2017-18 are:

  • (Indoor) NCAA champion in 200m (22.38).
  • 1st NCAA sprint champion in Ivy League history.
  • Collegiate record in 200m (22.38).
  • Two career-bests at the Ivy League Indoor Track and Field Championships with a 7.25 in the 60m and 12.24m in the triple jump.

But she decided to forgo her senior year of eligibility and turned pro. She moved to Austin and started training full-time. This resulted in her winning a silver in the 4x100m relay and a bronze in the 200m at the Tokyo Olympics. And she followed that up big time with 3 Gold medals at the Paris Olympics. With all this came big sponsorships and big deals. Here’s all we know about her net worth and endorsements.

What Is Gabby Thomas’ Net Worth in 2025?

As per multiple sources, Thomas has a net worth of between $1 million to $5 million.

Her track and field competitions have helped her rake in earnings in thousands of dollars. Like at the Paris Olympics alone, she has earned $114000. How so? Well, World Athletics paid $50000 to all individual gold medalists and the same amount is to be shared among team gold winners. Add to that – the US Olympic and Paralympics Committee (USOPC) declared they would pay gold medalists $37,500 as part of ‘Operation Gold’. And it has worked.

Winning gold in the 200m, 4x100m, and 4x400m brought significant rewards from World Athletics. However, the bonus sum for the relay champions from USOPC is not explicitly detailed. If the $37,500 gold medal reward is divided among the relay team members, Gabby Thomas could receive a share. However, given Operation Gold’s policy of awarding athletes based on their highest placement, her total bonus from USOPC remains uncertain. Beyond medals, Thomas’ success has translated into financial rewards, thanks to prize money and sponsorships.

And there’s more. In 2023, she claimed the gold (4x100m) and silver (200m) medals in the World Athletics Championships. So, as per the World Athletics declarations, she earned $35,000 from individual silver and $20,000 from the relay events. Apart from that, she clinched the top medal in the Paris Diamond League. So, she has had a healthy cash flow coming in regularly for being a beast of a sprinter on the track.

Now, away from professional competition, she has even partnered with Alexis Ohanian for his groundbreaking initiative – the 776 Invitational. The prize money for that goes like – $60k for 1st, $25k for 2nd, $8k for 3rd, and so on till 6th. She is raking in quite the moolah from other sources as well. Let us not forget the sponsorship deals that Olympic medal winners like her are offered. They contribute a huge amount to an athlete’s net worth.

And while the Harvard graduate has a number of deals under her banner, she has shown that the brand deals can be carried out on her own terms.

Gabby Thomas’ Sponsorships and Endorsements

However, prize money isn’t her only income source. Major brands have partnered with her, recognizing both her athletic talent and off-track impact. The 5-time Olympics medalist wants to make her life based on the various talents that she possesses. Her engagement with the Buford-Bailey Track Club and her voluntary service to public health are a few examples.

And such factors have directed her brand engagement as well. Gabby Thomas may not be the top-earning American athlete right now, but the tie-ups she has are carefully chosen by her to reflect her own principles. So, she has brand partnerships with Whoop, Lenovo, and HOTSHOT. In addition to that, she also has her deals with New Balance, Nulo, Modern Luxury, and Eli Lilly and Company intact.

Each of these deals holds a certain level of importance. Gabby Thomas’ brand engagement with Eli Lilly and Company has come to the fore because of her interest in public health. The same itch has made her do a voluntary job in a public health clinic in Austin. She works with the Volunteer Public Healthcare Clinic (VPHC) to provide medical resources to adults and children who don’t have insurance.

At the VPHC, Thomas is the director of the hypertension prevention program. She covers as a volunteer and also trains others. Speaking to Sports Illustrated in November 2024, she said, “Making a tangible difference and seeing it every day has been really fulfilling.” And she also told Vogue about her future plans: “As for the future, I’ll continue my track career and maybe wrap up my track career in five or six years. Then I’d like to continue in that space and maybe run a non-profit.”

Thomas has also bridged her brand sponsorships with her passion for healthcare. In that effort, she gets help from New Balance. What’s significant is the support she received at the right time: “The New Balance shoe deal was life-changing money because it financed my education and allowed me to run professional track.

But New Balance does more than that. And that’s right up Gabby Thomas’ ally. Mirroring her philanthropic side, New Balance has collaborated with her to donate free shoes to patients at the clinic to encourage them to get moving and stay active. On similar lines, the deal with the pedigree brand Nulo displays Gabby’s affinity toward pet companions. She also maintains a similar approach to her pug pet, Rico.

Gabby also has a deal with technology giant Lenovo, reflecting the importance she gives to innovation and technology. This shows that her versatility and appeal go beyond track and field. The US sprinter also has SKIMS in her list of brand sponsors. SKIMS is Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand, which featured in their Team USA Olympics campaign in June 2024.

In 2023, Gabby Thomas entered into a partnership with Delta Air Lines and became a brand ambassador for the American airline. How does Delta Air Lines match Gabby Thomas’ worldview? Well, they do. That’s why they were seen collaborating at the Central Texas Food Bank. It’s the little things. Like packing food for those in need. Helping your fellow people. That’s it. That’s the answer. Gabby is just looking for those who also share her mindset.
