Noah Lyles almost had a déjà vu moment from Paris while taking on MrBeast’s $100k challenge—as his race once again seemed to end in a tie! At least, that’s what IShowSpeed thought had happened. Fresh off an Olympic victory, Lyles holds the title of the ‘Fastest Man Alive.’ But renowned YouTuber MrBeast was ready to shake things up. During a recent livestream, MrBeast was seen teaming up with Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles.

In a surprising twist, the YouTuber then called on fellow creator IShowSpeed, challenging him to race against Lyles for a chance to win $100,000. Though Speed initially seemed intrigued, his enthusiasm faded after learning the race location. The 19-year-old remarked that he’d have to drive three hours to get there, leaving him visibly less interested.

Hearing this, both Lyles and MrBeast started to taunt him for being afraid of taking up the challenge. This was when the competitor within Speed kicked in and he did take the long ride to Orlando to challenge Lyles. As for the race, Lyles expectedly won the dash. However, Speed was not in the mood to accept his defeat. He constantly insisted that it was a tie and finally started to demand for a rematch. After the race, Speed told Lyles, “Let’s go again. Let’s do a rematch… You hear him? (0:26) You hear him? He barely won any Talking Crate. He barely won any Talking Crate. He didn’t even win!”

Lyles playfully joked that he had hoped to give the prize money to Speed. However, the Olympic champion then added on a more serious note that the full $100,000 would be donated to The Lyles Brothers Sports Foundation. Returning to Speed’s reaction, he took a few jabs at Lyles, asserting that since the Olympian barely won the race, he could easily beat him if he just mastered the techniques.

The 19-year-old looked confident and stated that he had a lot more raw speed in his legs than Noah Lyles. In fact, Speed asked Lyles to teach him some track and field techniques so that he could get better. And guess what? Lyles immediately agreed. Now, this entire fiasco of IShowSpeed demanding a rematch is baffling. After all, Lyles is an Olympic champion. But there’s something that happened during the unexpected race.

IShowSpeed almost got the better of Noah Lyles

What’s your perspective on:

Is IShowSpeed's demand for a rematch with Noah Lyles justified, or is he just being a sore loser?

Have an interesting take?

IShowSpeed had never run a track and field race in his life. Thus, when he drove for 3 hours straight and turned up to challenge Noah Lyles, only a few would have given him a chance. But once Mr. Beast fired the gun, things took a different turn. Almost matching the Olympian step by step, Speed looked utterly impressive. At one point during the race, the 19-year-old even led Lyles off the blocks.

However, Lyles then stepped up the gas and secured an easy victory. He even taunted Speed by jumping at the end of his race. When the video was played in slow motion, things looked quite tight but Lyles was the clear winner. Talking about the same, the Olympic gold medalist stated that he did not use his full throttle.

Speed was quick to state that he too, was not at his top speed. Hearing this, Lyles mocked the content creator saying that he looked out of gas. At the end, Lyles agreed to train with Speed and make him learn some sprinting techniques. Thus, with the fire still burning, it remains to be seen whether Speed can enhance his technique and get the better of Noah Lyles when they meet again.
