Gabby Thomas has a bronze in the 200m and a silver in the 4 × 100 m relay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. But being a postgraduate in public health, she has never refrained from talking about democratizing healthcare information to the general public. Acting as a vital instrument in facilitating such services, she believes balancing between her on and off-the-track life helps her treat both aspects with equal importance.

“I expect to still be in health care right now. I volunteer at a healthcare clinic in Austin and we provide access to health care for people who don’t have health insurance and that’s really meaningful work. Gabby Thomas added, “Doing work like that is impactful for me and it makes a difference, especially to work so close to the local community.
