During the meeting, President Ruto commended “Faith has made Kenya incredibly proud,” he further added. “She stands as a shining model of consistency, discipline, hard work, as well as family. Faith is a great Kenyan woman — a mother, a wife, and a world champion rolled into one.” He hailed her as a role model for the nation.

Not content with just one record, the 29-year-old continued her meteoric rise by breaking the world record in the 5000m race. During the Paris Diamond League event, held just a few weeks later, she completed the grueling distance in a remarkable time of 14:05:20. This shattered the previous record of 15:39:83, set by Letesenbet Gidey in Germany. the track and field star’s back-to-back world records showcased her exceptional talent, determination, and unwavering pursuit of excellence.
