Thanking the University of Arkansas, Jaydon Hibbert added a new post on his Instagram account. The post carried the caption, “UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS! You have been more than just a school to me, You’ve been a family! To all my coaches, teammates, and professors, you’ve shaped me into the athlete and person I am today!…You’ve instilled in me the RAZORBACK spirit which i’ll carry with me on my professional journey!”

Jaydon Hibbert further added, “As I say goodbye to my NCAA eligibility and step into my professional career, I do so with a heart full of gratitude. I’m not leaving behind the Razorback family, I’M TAKING IT WITH ME! The red and white will always be a part of me, no matter where this path takes me.”

The 19-year-old was a sophomore at the University of Arkansas and had instantly become an indispensable athlete. The triple jumper was one of the top recruits in his class and even won the prestigious Bowerman award on 14th December 2023. At the age of 18, he was the youngest Bowerman awardee ever. Not a complete departure for the U-20 World Champ

Although Jaydon Hibbert has ended his eligibility as an NCAA athlete, he will still be training at the University of Arkansas. This comes as good news for both Hibbert as well as his coach Travis Geopfert who will still have fun and train together. This will also aid the U-20 World Champ with stability as he enters the professional world.
