Sha’Carri Richardson is on red alert from Jamaica. Competing at the US Olympic trials, Richardson clocked the fastest time of the year to cement her spot in Paris. The 24-year-old sprinter clocked 10.71s, sending a strong message to all her potential rivals. However, that time might just need some further brushing. The latest updates from Jamaica have emerged and they are not looking very bright for Richardson and America.

Currently, the Jamaican trials are underway and Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce are blooming. As the initial rounds of the heats have concluded, Jackson has expectedly dominated the proceedings so far. However, it is their time that will keep Richardson concerned. Clocking a sub-11 on both occasions, Jackson’s time read at 10.99s while Fraser-Pryce got 10.98s in the second round.
