Usain Bolt, or as he is called The Lightning Bolt, is the fastest man on Earth. He is the fastest sprinter the world has ever seen; the record eight Olympic gold medals are proof of his dominance. However, an interesting calculation was done in 2016 by the experts when Usain Bolt won his 7th Olympic gold. Bolt won the third 100m gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics in 9.81 seconds.

Usain is undoubtedly a track and field marvel. Every time he competed on the track, he did something miraculous. As he kept getting richer and earned a massive amount of money through his races, endorsements, and other businesses. In 2016, financial experts decided to calculate the amount of money The Lightning Bolt was making per second in the 100m race he won.

With no surprise, it was a massive amount. According to an article on LadBible“The experts estimated he made £5million-a-second in the race, which he finished in 9.81 seconds.”

And that’s not even for the whole race. He was making £ 5 million every second. Moreover, with every historic win, Usain Bolt’s worth kept multiplying. This is because, as Bolt kept increasing his stature, the brands wanted him more and more.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Usain Bolt had a net worth of $90 million until 2022. However, unfortunately, recently he has lost a massive amount of $12.7 million in a scam. Although his legal team is strictly in action to get his hard-earned money back, the return is still in question.
