Hailing from Hamden, Connecticut, Alexis Holmes took all the spotlight at 96th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. Alexis Holmes claimed the win in the 800m race. NBC sports director of social media, Travis Miller took to his official Twitter handle to celebrate the biggest victory of Alexis Holmes. Holmes secured her win, finishing the race in 2:06:72. She also recently made waves at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, clinching the bronze medal in the 400m event. She astonished the fans by clocking at 50.24 seconds, this was her personal best.

After securing the win in 400m Heats at her first 2024 World Indoor Championships, USA Champion Alexis Holmes shared her experience in an interview. “I’m glad that there are a lot of people here because the energy is great.
