“Golden Gala for a Golden Season.🌟” That’s how Tara Davis-Woodhall summed up her extraordinary year in track and field, and she wasn’t exaggerating. In 2024, Tara dominated every meet she entered, soaring past the seven-meter mark time and again. Her crowning achievement came when she claimed her first Olympic gold medal in Paris, and just when we thought she was ready to wind down, she made a surprise stop in Rome to cap off her season with one final leap.
But if you thought the 25-year-old Olympian was ready for some well-deserved rest, think again. After her stunning performance in Rome, Tara took to social media to celebrate her achievements. Yet, one Instagram story in particular has fans buzzing with excitement. On August 31, Tara posted a TikTok video captioned, “JK NO SLEEP! IT’S TIME TO WATCH HUNTER!!” Dressed in all black with a United States baseball cap, she revealed, “I have not gone to sleep. It is 4 AM and I’m trying to, take me to Paris.”
And she isn’t making this trip alone. Her doctor, Noah Moos, is right there with her, joining in on the early morning adventure. As he steps into the frame, he playfully asks where they’re headed, before pointing at their jackets to drive home the point. Tara can’t hide her excitement as she beams, “Yeah baby, we’re coming, Hunter. We’re on our way!”

Hunter Woodhall, Tara’s husband and a Paralympian, is set to compete in the Men’s 100m T64 heats on September 1. Their bond is palpable, and after her golden moment in Paris, it’s no surprise she’s flying back to cheer him on. For Tara Davis-Woodhall, this season isn’t just about her own victories—it’s about sharing them with the ones she loves, making her golden year even more unforgettable.
However, the athlete had fans in a frenzy when she announced her return to the tracks shortly after. Acknowledging the buzz on Threads, she expressed how she wanted to contest and test her limits without the pressure of winning an Olympic medal. The 25-year-old had her sights set on her first Diamond League win, and she didn’t just nail it – she went above and beyond. Her gob-smacking jump of 7.02 meters marks her third gold medal this season.
The win comes after her victory at the World Indoor Championships and the Paris Olympics. Tara Davis-Woodhall is now the only athlete this year to have accomplished this feat. Hunter Woodhall wasn’t present in the stands this time around. But even though he was 880 miles away, the para-athlete was cheering her on. “Now get your butt to Paris. We got some unfinished business 🫡 @_taarra_,” he posted on Threads after beaming with pride on Threads. Davis-Woodhall couldn’t help but respond, “I’m currently on the plane now.” Could they be any cuter?
