With his recent performances, Noah Lyles has arguably become the next big thing in the track and field realm. This 26-year-old American runner shatters records every time he steps on the track. He is constantly looked at as the one who could knit with the same magic that Usain Bolt used to do. He is also not leaving any stone unturned when it comes to showcasing his athletic prowess. In the recent World Athletics Championships organized in Budapest, Lyles again made the headlines when he became the 100-meter champion and the 200-meter champion in a matter of days.

With his win, Lyles also became one of those rare track and field runners to hold both world titles. His victory also brought controversy with it, as he was called out on Twitter by legends like Kevin Durant for his comments on NBA players. But he has received appreciation from the legendary American swimmer Katie Ledecky. She took to social media to congratulate her friend, Noah Lyles, on his victory.

This seven-time Olympic gold medalist shared a picture with Noah Lyles on her X Handle (formerly Twitter). She captioned it, “Congratulations on gold.” The picture seems to be an old one, as both of them are seen in their Olympic kits. It looks like the picture was taken when both of them represented the US at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The mutual respect and admiration these two share for each other is commendable. Lyles must be thrilled to be appreciated by a legend who herself holds 16 individual swimming golds in the World Championships. These two share a great bond with each other, as was witnessed once when Ledecky and Lyles had a conversation during an Instagram live.

During their session, both of them shared some fun insights into their personal lives. Lyles also revealed how he improved his game and how he was constantly striving to get better. During the discussion, Lyles said he sets multiple goals for himself so he doesn’t get stuck doing one thing. While talking about his fun time, Lyles revealed that he likes to watch anime, and Full Metal Alchemist is his favorite anime series. He also revealed that he has set some high achieving goals in terms of winning the medals. He kind of proved that at the World Athletics Championships.
