The sky seems to be the limit for the Bullis High School phenom Quincy Wilson. This year, the 16-year-old sprinter had attained as low as 45.13 seconds timing in the 400m sprinting at the New Balance Nationals Outdoors. When the track community was thinking that nothing shorter could be achieved, Quincy Wilson dropped the thunderbolt and finished his 400m at Hayward Field in 44.66 seconds. The new timing is the new U18 world record and it sets him at the top of the high school national list. Naturally, after watching such a performance, the audience couldn’t hold calm.
While Quincy himself relished the moment, confessing about taking motivation from the fans’ comments, the fans cheered him like nothing. Soon one of such fans adorned his performance by calling it ‘Unreal’. Meanwhile, another Quincy lit the Hayward Field in the 400m event trial today, and he is Quincy Hall.
