Injuries could not prevent the hurdler from chasing her dreams
McLaughlin-Levrone had opted to miss the championships, prioritizing her full recovery for the Paris Olympics. In a statement shared on her social media platforms, McLaughlin-Levrone stated in 2023, “after consulting with my doctors and coaches, I need to take care of a minor knee issue so that I can be fully healthy for next years’ Paris Olympics,”. On this, USA Track and Field even showed their support for her decision, wishing her a swift recovery and waiting with bated breath for the young phenom to replicate her Tokyo heroics and daredevilry once more.

However, now with immense positivity and self-confidence, she is focused on her Olympic aspirations in 2024, leads Bible studies with her husband, Andre, at UCLA, and focuses on her debut book release, “Far Beyond Gold: Running from Fear to Faith.” So, for now, god and glory both await her with open arms come July.
