Notably, Shericka has created history. By maintaining her dominance from the first go, Shericka earned first place in the women’s 100 meters at the Diamond League meet in Brussels.
Shericka registers her win
Registering her dominance, Shericka, the 200 meters World Championship winner, beat past fiver-time World 100-meters champion to clinch gold. The Jamaican sprinter ran past Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, another Jamaican sprinter.
The world saw the teammates competing with each other in a nail-biting race. While sharing the details of the race, one user wrote, “Shericka Jackson is now the first Jamaican woman to win a 100m, 200m, and 400m at the Diamond League. She is the second woman to do this overall behind Allyson Felix.”

The difference was split seconds; Jackson was only o.o1 seconds faster than former World champion Pryce. Jackson touched the finishing line at 10.73 seconds while Fraser-Pryce took 10.74 seconds, and securing the third spot was Marie Ta Lou from Ivory Coast. She finished the race in 10.78 seconds.
The race marked Pryce’s return to the track. She suffered a hamstring, and medical reasons made her withdraw from the Diamond League meet in Lausanne. The Jamaican sprinters have already secured their place in Zurich’s upcoming Diamond League final.
Shericka Jackson is pushing the limits
Jackson refuses to settle for anything less when the sky is the limit. While the world talks about track queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Elaine Thompson-Herah, Jackson slowly but steadily prepares to push herself.
Having had her fair share of bronze, Jackson had already announced that she is eyeing gold earlier on Twitter.
