Jamaican sprinting icon Shericka Jackson once again asserted her dominance on the tracks as she clinched a double gold victory at Hayward Field Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. On Day 1 of the Prefontaine Classic, she stood atop the podium by trouncing Sha’Carri Richardson in the 100m heat, while on Day 2, the Jamaican sprinting powerhouse secured the 200m glory at the Eugene Diamond League.?
The 29-year-old delivered another staunch performance after defeating Sha?Carri Richardson in the 100m race on 16th September. The 100m Diamond League Champion blazed toward victory again as she retained her 200m title at Eugene.

Shericka Jackson was out on a mission at the Eugene Diamond League. The 2023 World Athletics Champion clocked 21.57 seconds as she sped to her second grand victory in two days.
However, her Diamond league timeframe in Eugene was slower than that of her Budapest run, which she clocked in 21.41 seconds. Though she couldn?t beat FloJo?s record of 21.34 seconds, the double gold and diamond trophy winner flashed a great smile after her 200m victory.?
While Ivorian sprinter Marie Jos?e Ta Lou stood second by crossing the finish line in 22.10 seconds, Bahamian sprinter Anthonique Strachan finished third by clocking 22.16 seconds.
