When asked about his journey to gold, beamingly, the US Indoor Champion shared, “I’ve already have, you know. Noah Lyles kicked off his international outdoor season with a bang, winning the 100-meter dash at the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix in impressive fashion. Clocking in at 9.96 seconds, Lyles dipped below the 10-second mark, despite facing a 3.0 meters/second tailwind. The reigning world champion in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m events, Lyles secured a narrow victory over Canadian 100m champion Aaron Brown, who finished just 13 hundredths of a second behind him.

This marked Lyles’ second individual outdoor race of the year, following his 10.01-second performance at the University of Florida on April 13. In that race, he narrowly edged out 200-meter silver medalist Kenny Bednarek by a mere five-thousandths of a second. With only 52 days remaining until the 2024 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon, scheduled for June 21–30, 2024, and just 86 days until the Paris Olympics, fans are eagerly anticipating Noah Lyles’ quest for gold.
