The track and field world has witnessed some of the greatest performances at the recently wrapped world championships. Athletes like Noah Lyles and Sha’Carri Richardson created history in Budapest. However, this event did not end well for some athletes. The reason was the challenging conditions they had to face in Hungary. One such athlete, known for his rivalry with American 400-meter world record holder Michael Norman, was wheeled off the track due to a heat stroke. In fact, he had to be hospitalized later.

Now it looks like the said athlete has found a new way to get over his world championship heartbreak. He was recently spotted attending Beyonce’s concert in Los Angeles. A photo of him at her concert has been going viral on the internet and has caught the attention of track and field enthusiasts.

Track Spice reported the attendance of Steven Gardiner at Beyonce’s concert on their official Twitter handle. In this post, Gardiner holds a Chinese circular fan and wearing cool black shades. The concert was organized at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

In one picture, Beyonce is also seen in a red dress. “Off season Shenanigans. Steven Gardiner spotted at a Beyoncé concert in Los Angeles,” read the caption. Some prominent figures, like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, attended the event. But this concert would have had a great positive impact on Gardiner, ahead of his upcoming track and field events.

This Bahamian track runner is known for his brilliance in the 400 meters. He won the gold medal in the aforementioned division during the 2020 Summer Olympics, and he was also the 400-meter world champion in 2019. He made headlines when he claimed a silver medal in the same category at the 2017 World Championships and is going strong with his track and field career so far.

He also secured the 4×400 meter silver during the same event in 2015. Gardiner’s track and field journey is marked by triumphs. Of course, except for the recent setback due to heat stroke at the World Championships. However, a break from the track, enjoying Beyonce’s concert in Los Angeles, could be just the rejuvenation he needs before upcoming events.
