Caine Bishop recently shared her excitement about being in Saint Lucia for the first time. She explained her curiosity, ” I am so excited to be here. This is my first time here, and I got intrigued last year when now Olympic gold medallist in the 100m Julien Alfred won the NCAA championship and they said she was from Saint Lucia. And I said ‘Hm, which is Saint Lucia? I want to go visit.”

Caine Bishop proudly carried the Saint Lucia flag and was captivated by the island’s beauty. She explained that without track and field, she might never have discovered this Caribbean gem. “So, Julien, I told you I was coming to your country. I finally made it. I’m at the beach, it’s so pretty and I love your country. Everybody should come visit.” she said. In the video, Keisha radiates excitement, urging others to experience the magic of St. Lucia at least once in their lives. For her, this trip wasn’t just a vacation—it was the fulfillment of a promise and a celebration of both friendship and adventure. Dreams do come true, and for Keisha Caine Bishop, this one was as sweet as the island breeze.

In addition to her current adventures, Bishop has a remarkable track record herself. A former standout athlete, she earned nine All-American titles and was a key member of two 4×400 NCAA champion relay teams during her college days. Being the mother of 100m Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles, it’s no surprise that fans wouldn’t weigh in on this cool mom’s recent journey. And, of course, they certainly have shared their thoughts and opinions.

Noah Lyles’ mom has fans going wild with her heartwarming gestures

Among the many comments from fans, a few really stood out. One person shared, “I really love her; she shows so much love to all the athletes. A TRUE MOM ❤️.” This perfectly captures the admiration for Keisha Caine Bishop, who has been an incredible example of support for her son, Noah Lyles, during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Keisha’s commitment to her children has always been clear. Even after her divorce from Kevin Lyles in 2008, she didn’t waver in her dedication to their success. As Noah Lyles himself says, “My mom is a hard worker.” She’s not just there for her kids; she’s also there for others who need support.

For instance, take Australian athlete Ollie Hoare as an example. After the Paris Olympics, he failed to advance beyond the heats, in the 1500 meters. So, fans started criticizing him online. And that affected him, prompting him to deactivate his Instagram account.

But then came Noah Lyles’ mom, who supported him and posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, saying, “As the mother of Noah Lyles, I totally understand how you feel. Those people who say mean things are not happy people in themselves. Don’t let them steal your joy. You are valuable, you are worthy, and I support you. Remember the quote from a famous poem, ‘It is not the critic who counts.”

Another fan added, “Damn I thought that was Noah with a perm and dyed hair wow 😂🤣😂😂 that boy look like his mama.” This comment brings a humorous touch, playfully noting the resemblance between Noah and his mother. It seems that the dominant character traits Noah inherits are more akin to his mother, making him resemble Keisha Caine Bishop more than his father.

When she’s not on the sidelines, Keisha is busy as a life coach, focusing on helping other parents support their young athletes. Her Instagram even features conference calls where she gives advice and guidance to parents, helping them navigate the ups and downs of their children’s athletic careers. It’s safe to say, Keisha’s impact goes beyond just being a supportive mom—she’s also dedicated to helping others find their own way.
