When asked what made him belly-laugh recently, Lyles immediately answered, “My girlfriend told me she was patient!” This was a small glimpse of how much Lyles adores Bromfield and the fun relationship that the two have.

Lyles may be a beast on the track, holding several world records. But he is a romantic at heart. Bromfield has been a constant presence by his side through major competitions, including the 2023 World Athletics Championships. Last year after his Worlds Win they joined the rest of the Lyles clan including Noah’s sprinter brother Josephus on a trip to Universal Studios to enjoy all the rides for Christmas. After which the couple jet-setted off to Jamaica presumably to spend time with Bromfield’s family. Buying Bromfield her first car also signifies that Lyles wanted to be a part of this milestone moment with her. 

In a post on social media, he shared a video of Bromfield gearing up to drive the car. Lyles even captioned the post “Passenger prince that’s me.” The gift could be a part of Bromfield’s birthday celebration. Lyles also posted a series of pictures of the duo wearing funky clothes.
