Last year, Noah Lyles made headlines by clocking a remarkable time of 9.83 seconds at the Men’s 100 meters at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. This stunning performance not only secured him a gold medal at the championships but also ignited discussions comparing him to track and field icon Usain Bolt, often hailed as the fastest man on earth.

Usain Bolt is quite synonymous with speed, underscored by his enduring world records in both the 100-meter and 200-meter events. Until now, his records have remained unchallenged and untouched for many years, solidifying his status as a dominant force in the sprinting world. Once again, both Noah Lyles and Usain Bolt have been placed under the limelight. However, this time, the case is quite different.

Amid the comparison between Usain Bolt and Noah Lyles, Raes Take TV took to their Twitter account to address the discourse and express concerns over what they perceive as the exploitation of Usain Bolt’s name and fame for attention-grabbing purposes. They penned, “Y’all using Bolts name for clout and clickbait!

Raes Take TV clarified the context surrounding Bolt’s earnings. They highlighted that the astronomical figures Bolt has commanded during his track and field career surpasses those of many NFL Stars. They said, “Now I’m not knocking Noah’s new Deal cause he’s still in the millions…but please take it out of the conversation with Bolt’s name cause it’s misleading.”

They added,” It doesn’t take much to be the highest paid Track athlete since Bolt cause they ain’t paying no money anyway.” In addition to this, the tweet also underscored the misleading nature of framing Lyles’s contract as “the Largest since Bolt“, emphasizing that while Noah’s deal is substantial, it does not match that of Bolt’s. But now the question is why both sprinting legends are compared to each other.

Will Noah Lyles break the world records?

Noah himself is a major reason for being compared to the sprinting legend Usain Bolt. The 26-year-old American Sprinter, after breaking records at the Worlds last year, is trying to fill the big gap Bolt left, which is still unfilled. The 2023 World Championships not only awarded him a gold but also ignited his aspirations to pave his path to breaking records.
