The 2024 Racers Grand Prix is here and fans can no longer hold their excitement. Elite athletes from the T&F club in Jamaica and worldwide participate to showcase their talents. One of the main reasons for organizing the tournament is to provide financial support to the Jamaican athletes and the ones from the T&F Club. However, over the years, the tournament has grown significantly in stature and has become one of the most highly sought-after track and field competitions in the world. 

Meanwhile, this year’s event will also be a great opportunity for the fans to enjoy it to the fullest. As per Devon Blake, the CEO of the tournament, there will be ample engaging activities to entertain the fans this time around. He also announced free tickets for the fans via online registration. Well, with such intense hype building around the game, it is imperative to know when and where the event is taking place. 

When and where are Racers Grand Prix 2024 taking place?

The Racers Grand Prix 2024 will take place a few hours from now, Saturday, June 1. The Jamaica National Stadium in Kingston will play the host for this edition of the tournament. While the preparations are in full swing, the participating athletes will see this as a launchpad for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024. The event will comprise a total of 13 events, including the hurdles, triple jump, long jump, and the 100m sprint. 

Speaking about the preparations for the tournament, the founder of the Racers Club, Glen Mills, promised the fans a spectacular experience. He mentioned that the sixth edition of the live event will be the biggest ever. Sharing positive news about the event, Mills stated, “We are hoping to have everything in place by the start of the meet. Ninety-eight percent of the athletes have been confirmed with their travel information and their attendance.”  

Several notable athletes are scheduled to participate in the meet. Some of them include Noah Lyles, Abby Steiner, Julien Alfred, Devynne Charlton, and more. Now, with all the information about the date, place, and time sorted, let’s dive into how the fans can catch all the action live. 

Where and how to watch the event?

As already announced, fans can flock to the stadium for free by registering online. However, regular tickets will also be available for purchase from the official website of the Racers Grand Prix. However, for fans staying back at home, Watch Athletics will be streaming all the events live on their official website. They will also be posting regular updates on their website. Regrettably, there won’t be any live broadcast of the race, so it cannot be watched. 

As for the schedule, the race will be starting from 7:30 PM EST and will continue until 9:35 PM EST. The tournament will kick-start with the Women’s 400m final, followed by Men’s High Jump(7:45 PM EST), Men’s Triple Jump(8:10 PM EST), Men’s 200m sprint(8:25 PM EST), Women’s 100m hurdles(8:45 PM EST), Men’s 110m hurdles(9:10 PM EST), Women’s 100m sprint(9:25 PM EST), and the Men’s 100m sprint (9:35 PM EST).
