Eyes are where the prizes are- before the Paris Olympics, the adage is showing every sign to be true. The reigning track and field world champion Noah Lyles has already marked his target on the ‘every medal’ in the Parisian capital. His compatriots from Team USA are not far behind. One of them has recently gone one step ahead in expressing his choice from the Paris Olympics. With a wish to defeat Noah in the race, the iconic American sprinter wants Snoop Dogg to announce his name on the Olympic track.

The wish came out publicly when NBC announced comedian Leslie Jones as the Chief Super Fan Commentator for the Paris Olympics recently. Meanwhile, Fred Kerley spoke his mind after Citius Mag’s IG handle had aired the news. The former 3-time world champion penned, “Lit[emoji] they need snoop[Dogg] to for when I win” in the comment box. Eventually, Leslie will be joining the rap legend Snoop Dogg with the boom to perform the duty in Paris. However, Leslie Jones’ comment on Fred Kerley’s wish is yet to take the ground. But with the Olympics, Leslie Jones holds a bittersweet experience.

In Tokyo, Leslie Jones comically got to know about the steeplechase sport. However, whether she knows Fred Kerley or not remains a question. But in the same Olympics, the sprinter earned his silver medal. And now he wants to change the color of the medal to a better side. Even though, this year, Fred Kerley has not met Noah Lyles on any outdoor track yet.

But he has displayed his firm opposition by registering his 100m sprint in the sub-10 category this year. So when the fans are bracing themselves to watch an even-set battle in Paris between these two sprinters, Fred Kerley has added a dimension to that by naming his choice of announcer. But the question is – will Snoop Dogg be there in the Parisian track and field to announce the winner’s name?

While receiving the responsibility of on-ground Olympic coverage in Paris, Snoop Dogg went down memory lane. “I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris,” he responded to the media. However, rousing the brewing fanfare, the Doggfather claimed that he would be taking a special interest in the underwater business, i.e., aquatic events. The reason is straightforward- Snoop Dogg likes ‘underwater boogie’! And in Paris, he will be on his quest to unearth such kind. But how would that help Fred Kerley in the French capital?

Snoop Dogg may have noticed the fiasco after Noah Lyles snubbed Fred Kerley in the Glasgow World Indoor Championship relay event. Hinting at such occurrences, the 52-year-old legend claimed, “I always come in hot. So with that being said, don’t worry about the research. I know everything about everyone. We’re gonna be fine.” So, if Fred Kerley topples Noah Lyles and Snoop Dogg announces Kerley’s name being the champion, that would be the ‘wishes come true’ for Fred Kerley in the same fold. But would that be possible? What do you think about this chance?
