With her senior year at St. Louis, Missouri, Kelley is ready to take on the next stint with the Badgers after her dominant WashU Athletics history. Kelley has an astounding track record in the 400m and 800m events. She has gained notoriety for clinching the 800m national title in the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Rochester, N.Y. last year.

The official FB handle of Wisconsin Track and Cross Country took to announce the addition of Emma Kelley, signing her for the class of 2024. The caption to the post reads, Welcome to the Badgers Emma Kelley!” The post also highlights her notable achievements, including the 800m NCAA Indoor National Title. With this title, she entrenched her position in WashU Athletics history as the 37 individual to achieve such a feat. She raced to a time of 2:06.62, which helped her set a new Division III top-time record.

She also went on to secure the 800m NCAA Outdoor National Title in the 2022-23 season. Kelley has indeed superiorly performed at the NCAA Division III field by a cut of three seconds claiming the All-American honors. The post also includes the hashtag, #OnWisconsin as she becomes a part of the Badgers lineup.

Kelley’s phenomenal track and field journey also includes the season-best times in 400m at the Lincoln University Open, and 800m at the Billy Hayes Invitational in the 2022-23 season. She also went to clock the best timing at Big Blue Friday Night Invite in 1500m and, with given her track record, literally and figuratively, her Badgers stint will be quite a cinch for her.
