This was when an Italian luxury fashion house recently partnered with the Women’s National Basketball Association, to style its athletes for the WNBA Draft that was held on the 15th of April 2024.
The draft was scheduled following the successful season of the 2023–24 NCAA Division I, it was the 29th NBA draft that covered all legendary basketball players in the meet.

Stunned at the glamourous manner in which Prada had styled the women’s basketball reigning legends for the NBA Draft event, Gabby Thomas expressed her elation for the same. A post on the official account of the track and field star read, “These ladies are giving us look after look.” While the Front Office Sports page on X reported the greatest collegiate basketball player dressed in Prada, the post also mentioned that it was the very first time Prada had collaborated with this sports industry.
