Max Siegel, CEO of USA Track and Field, recently took to Instagram to re-share a post from Greater Orlando Sport. The post highlighted the electric atmosphere at a trial marathon event. In his heartfelt message, they expressed gratitude to Orlando for hosting the event. They acknowledged the remarkable support of the approximately 100,000 spectators who attended the thrilling 2024 U.S. Marathon Olympic Trials. By amplifying this post, Siegel demonstrated his admiration for the passionate fans. He also emphasized the significance of the event in showcasing elite athletic talent.

Orlando was proud to have been the first city in Florida to host the U.S. Marathon Olympic Trials. It anticipated 60,000-100,000 attendees spread throughout the course. In the men’s category, Conner Mantz clinched the top spot with an impressive time of 2:09:05. This secured his place in the Olympic team alongside Clayton Young, who closely followed with a time of 2:09:06.
