Good news is coming from the Berlin Marathon 2023 as Eliud Kipchoge won big times. This was the 49th edition of the Berlin Marathon, where around 48,000 runners took part from 156 countries. But leaving all of them behind, Kipchoge claimed the title of world’s fourth major marathon on Sunday. 

While Eliud Kipchoge became the reigning world champion in the World Marathon, another Kenyan runner was not so far behind in his debut marathon. Being 31 seconds behind the legendary Kipchoge, he finished a remarkable second place in the race. Witnessing an outstanding performance by the long-distance runner in his maiden marathon, the sports enthusiasts are thinking him as a potential threat to Kipchoge’s supremacy in the marathon.

The Kenyan runner Vincent Kipkemboi stunned everyone with his pace, competitive streak and tactical sharpness on his marathon debut, coming home just a few steps behind Kipchoge at the Berlin Marathon 2023. Unfortunately, Kipkemboi clocked 2:03:13 and could only settle for the silver at the international marathon race.

This was his first World Marathon and he finished second. He might be a threat to Kipchoge’s throne in the near future.”

Kipchoge Made World Record in Berlin

Eliud Kipchoge never disappoints his fans and the marathon enthusiasts. Again, showing his strength and electrifying speed, he secured the title at the Berlin BMW Marathon in 2:02:42. With this victory, Kipchoge made an astonishing world record of winning the Berlin Marathon for 5 times.
