American Track and Field sensation Noah Lyles is pitched to star at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and sweep the medals tally in the U. S basket just like he did at the World Championships 2023. While Lyles won triple gold medals in 100m, 200m, and 4x100m events, his ultimate goal is to win the Olympic gold, and he is ready to leave everything for it, even the concert of a rapper whose net worth is assumed to be $80 million.

The Diamond League champion has missed the concert of Scott twice till now but it’s all part of a sacrifice for the Olympic Gold Medal. However, he made sure to instill Scott’s style in his life, and his latest look is a testament to his love for the hip-hop sensation, and of course, the continuation of Florence Griffith Joyner’s iconic style.

Noah recently missed the music concert of Travis Scott on 31st January at Kia Center in Orlando after not being able to meet him at the 2022 World Championships. Later, the 26-year-old expressed his disappointment in X, writing, “The world can be so cruel some times“. While Noah knows he will get many more chances to meet the rapper, he is making sure to continue the tradition of Florence Griffith Joyner.

Lyles is today’s Florence Griffith Joyner

Known as a pop culture phenomenon, Florence Griffith Joyner reshaped the fashion sense in the athletic world. She is believed to have been the fastest woman on Earth but it was her iconic style that still reverberates on the sprinting tracks. One-legged spandex bodysuits, hair weaves, and 4-inch painted nails were a regular part of her sprinting style, and taking forward the legacy is Noah Lyles with typical Travis braids.

Just like Flo-Jo, Noah also likes to get his nails done. Currently, the fastest in the world, Noah has gone on to express himself using fashion, and his regular appearances at fashion shows, the 2021 Met Gala being the best, are a testament to it. He believes he is an ‘influencer‘ rather than a ‘track and field athlete‘, and so is proving with each passing day.
