The three-time world champion was trailed closely by Andrew Hudson of Jamaica with 10.12 seconds and Devine Augustin, hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, who finished third with 10.16 seconds.

Fred Kerley took to his Instagram and shared the video of his triumphant victory and wrote, “Heading to the deep-end season opener.” Track and field enthusiasts must be astounded by the way he headed into the forthcoming season. The two-day Hurricane Invitational was hosted by Cobb Track and Field Facility in Coral Gables, Florida, on March 15 and 16.

His victory holds significance as Kerley was dropped off the American 4×400-meter track and field team that took part in the recently concluded World Athletics Indoor Championships. It also led to a war of words between him and Noah Lyles.
