Is Snoop Dogg's $500K gift the ultimate show of support for our Olympic heroes?

Snoop Dogg and the Paris Olympics—the combination everyone is cherishing right now. The pop star and host is leaving his mark on every event where American athletes have competed. Today, it was time for track and field, with Simone Biles making an appearance—not as a performer, but as an audience member, cheering on Team USA. Her family joined her in the box to witness the fireworks at the Stade de France. However, it was Simone’s lookalike sister, Adria, who broke some special news, and surprisingly, Snoop was involved.

Just a few minutes ago, Adria shared an Instagram story showing her and Simone’s father, Ron Biles’ displaying a neck chain. With the Death Row pendant in it, a similar chain had once adorned Noah Lyles’ neck. The only missing link could be Snoop Dogg, who, in fact, gifted these chains to both Ron and Noah. However, unlike the sprinter, Ron doesn’t know how to flaunt it, and Adria Biles couldn’t help but point that out. In the same story, she wrote, “Snoop gave him a chain now he don’t know how to act”. But she could let the problem go as she mentioned, “75 looks great on you! happy birthday i love you”. That seemed to be an apt celebration of the priceless day. But another celebrity shared company today with the Biles family at the stands.

The visual shows that Sebastian Coe, World Athletics’ CEO, also spent time with Simone and her family members in the stands. However, Snoop managed the environment well with his typical jokes and gifts. And it is not the first time the rapper shared a splendid time with the gymnast’s family.

Remember the opening pomp of the Paris Olympics? Snoop Dogg caught up with the Biles family on the bank of the River Seine. He couldn’t find the Olympian in the pack, including Nellie and Ron Biles. But they arranged FaceTime for him with Simone. However, the moment of surprise did not end there, as Nellie shared something unforeseen.

Hoda Kotb, the host of The Today Show, was present at the scene. She quipped, “Snoop, I don’t know if you know this, but Simone and you have known each other for a long time. Right, Nellie?” Simone’s mom dropped the bomb, saying Snoop had once ignored the family’s request to take a photograph with him. Nellie further revealed, “I remember. I will never forget that we met you in Times Square, 2010. And you said, cause we asked for a picture, you said ‘two minutes’. One, two and you were gone.” The rapper felt silent after hearing that. But throughout this Olympics, he shared several fanboy moments for the two-time Olympic all-around champion.

Snoop Dogg holds the best place for Simone Biles

In the team final event at the Paris Olympics, Snoop Dogg graced the audience seat at Bercy Arena. But Simone Biles’ Yurchenko Double Pike vault brought the fanboy out of the Dogg father. He displayed his admiration for the gymnast by flaunting his Biles t-shirt, sporting underneath his Team USA jacket. Simone acknowledged the tribute, and later she shared an Instagram story with Snoop’s snap, bearing his Biles t-shirt. Another part went viral.

After watching the gymnast do special things on the mat, the rapper changed his role into a perfect cheerleader, dancing to the beat in the audience box. However, Simone Biles noticed those moves, and, with Jordan Chiles, she also tried to emulate those on the sidelines to match with Snoop Dogg. That’s how things rolled between these two legends. Today, once again, they crossed paths.
