Graham Blanks’ historic run not only secured victory but rewrote the books. Surpassing the 2012 record held by Lawi Lalang of Arizona at 13:08.28, Blanks not only clinched the top spot but also dipped below the crucial 13:05 barrier.

This achievement holds additional significance as it earned him the coveted Olympic qualifying standard, setting the stage for a remarkable journey towards the 2024 Olympics.
