Although the exact injury was not revealed, the post read, Anthonique Strachan 🇧🇸 is out for the rest of the 2024 season!🥺 The Bahamian athlete indicated that she sustained an injury via a post on her Instagram.Stepping away from the Paris Olympics competition will surely be heartbreaking for the 30-year-old especially when she was in such prime form.

Competing at the Worlds in Budapest, Strachan entered the 200m finals clocking 22.30s. The momentum Strachan gained saw her clinch the second position at the Diamond League 2023 in September.
