Jackson recently had an “ask me a question session with her fans on Instagram. One of her fans asked her, “What is your best memory related to your sport?” to which the world champion replied, “I have a lot tbh but my first individual gold have took the cherry.” However, she did not clarify which event she was talking about.

But the Saint Ann Parish native had won her first significant gold medal 15 years ago during the U17 CARIFTA Games in 2008, where the young Jackson rose to fame after clocking an impressive time of 54.52 seconds. During the same competitions, the Olympian also secured a gold medal in the 4×400-meter relay when Team Jamaica claimed the top spot with a time of 3:39.62 seconds on the clock.

Since then, her career graph has only been running in an upward direction with all those accomplishments she achieved in 100 meters and 200 meters.  The 200 meters has become her territory now, where the runners have barely come close to her, and she is the only track runner in the world with some of the insane 200-meter world records under her belt.
