Elaine Thompson-Herah is among the greatest possible athletes across the globe. She not only holds the record of being the fastest woman competing in 100 meters alive, but also is the second fastest athlete in 200-meter meters. As the five-time Olympic champion plans to clinch a spot at the Paris Olympics in 2024, Elaine seems to make the tables turn because of the revelation of groundbreaking news.?
According to Radio Jamaica Sports, Osbourne has not been spotted at her training center for the past few days. Therefore, it was assumed that she would soon switch her coach. However, this news has not been announced publically by Elaine Thompson Herah. Consecutively, this news broke in line with another assumption that her new coach will be track and field guidance and her career partner, Derron Herah. However, Thompson-Herah’s difficulties with the coaching staff have been going on for some time.

Elaine Thompson-Herah married Derron Herrah way back in November 2019. Derron is a former professional Jamaican athlete and now coach. He has been a versatile player featuring exceptional runs in the 400-meter and 400-meter hurdles. Continuing with his bonding with Elaine beyond the personal sphere, Derron took up coaching for her in 2021. Elaine was under the coaching of Stephen Francis prior to that.
Elaine switched to MVP coach Shanikie Osbourne this August. However, according to Radio Jamaica, this was a temporary association. Osbourne himself also said the same to Radio Jamaica, “I have been working with her since we have been at MVP, so it?s similar stuff; so, I?m just working with her for now. Not sure if it is going to be permanent, but just working with her for now.? He had also made it clear back then that, It would solely be the discretion of Thompson-Herah, whether or not she would continue with the association.
