His promotional tour brought him to the sets of the Australian TV program Sunrise, where he talked about his fondness for doing his own action stunts, running in movies, ad loving every minute of making the film. Immediately after he sat down, Shrivington started off the interview by sharing his Olympic detail.
As per Yahoo Lifestyle news, Shrivington said, “Tom, I’ve gotta be honest with you, as a kid growing up I was a sprinter and went to the Olympic Games as a sprinter”. Wowed and surprised, Cruise found out that it was in Sydney Olympics 2000 after he watched a clip from it. A seemingly impressed Cruise said, “Look at that. You’re a great runner. I’m a good runner”.

When asked if he ever fears dying or getting seriously injured, Cruise responded that he does, but he likes that fear. Ironical as it sounds, he isn’t afraid of that fear. With all the years of running and stunts in his repertoire, Cruise still couldn’t shake off the feeling of instant admiration he felt for Shrivington upon learning and watching his running abilities.
