Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is one of those global athletes who is looked up to as an idol by aspiring track and field athletes. In her decades-long career, the Jamaican prodigy has left no stone unturned when it comes to winning titles. As she embraced motherhood in 2017 after giving birth to her son Zion, she became an example to mothers inside and outside of her sport.
Alongside, she has also made her presence felt in the fashion arena as well. While achieving world and Olympic championships, her off-the-track pursuits, including her fashion choices, also garnered significant attention. Adding on to her style side of things, the three-time Olympic gold medalist made another statement when she appeared for a $5 billion Italian brand.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce sends a style statement
?Age is a part of life, a part of the journey, but it doesn?t define who you are?. The 36-year-old icon has proven beyond doubt that it is possible to combine a career with motherhood, even in a sport as physically and mentally demanding as athletics. The former world champion took to her Instagram story and shared a small clip from Bottega Veneta’s event.
Shelly shared a video in which the athlete showcased a screen advertisement. It was for the unveiling of Bottega Veneta’s 2024 season collection during Milan Fashion Week.
She captioned the posts #bottegaveneta and #MFW. She later shared a few other stories in which she was seen in a grey-brown outfit. Fraser-Pryce attended the ongoing 2023 Milan Fashion Week; however, she had already hinted at this collaboration earlier through her Instagram stories.

However, the videos that she posted in her stories only showcase her sitting by the ramp while the models are walking the carpet. The Italian fashion week is currently buzzing with athletes like Noah Lyles and Ezra Frech walking the ramp for fashion giants.

It’s not the first time the Jamaican legend has been seen at a fashion event. Shelly has ventured into collaborations with several other high-end brands. Notably, she inked a three-year agreement with a well-known Swiss luxury watchmaker.

Been down this road earlier as well
She signed a three-year contract with Richard Mille, a luxury Swiss watch brand. The brand has already collaborated with staunch sporting figures like Yohan Blake, Fernando Alonso, and many others. According to the terms and conditions of the deal signed on July 1, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was supposed to wear one of the brand’s watches during her appearances in the recently concluded 2023 World Athletics Championships.

As part of this agreement, the brand has also pledged its support for the Jamaican sprinter’s charitable endeavor, the Pocket Rocket Foundation, by becoming a sponsor of her initiative. The foundation works for the betterment of Jamaican high school athletes by providing them with scholarships to fund their dreams. Moreover, her commitment to philanthropy through the Pocket Rocket Foundation adds depth to her remarkable career.
