The athletic journey of Sha’Carri Richardson has not been less than a roller coaster ride lately. After being disqualified from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she went on to become the 100m world champion in 2023. Sha’Carri Richardson reposted the wishes she got from her near and dear ones on her Instagram stories. “Happy Birthday to my Big Jr.”, posted Aleia Hobbs, an Olympian and American record holder from the LSU, to which Sha’Carri Richardson replied, “Thank you Big Dawg.” Another birthday wishing post was of ‘Your fav girl Bri’ (Instagram name), who wrote, “Happy Birthday to my fave”, to which Richardson rejoined to say, “My fav. Thank you.”

While HSI Sports, a sports agency, also took to Instagram to wish Sha’Carri Richardson on her birthday. An elite track club in Florida called Star Athletics also joined to shower the birthday girl with their wishes. In the last story, Sha’Carri shared a reel by the USATF that reads, “It’s Sha’Carri Richardson’s time.” In the accompanying clip, Sha’Carri is featured saying on stage, “Everything happens when it is supposed to happen.” Richardson captioned the story, “Happy Birthday to you my dear, I owe you everything.”
The wishes from all directions understandably speak volumes about Sha’Carri’s popularity. This very popularity brought her an achievement off the field recently.

Recently Sha’Carri Richardson inked a $20m collaboration with Nike until 2028. As a part of the deal, she will now engage in campaigns for the brand. The track and field athlete has had a long association with her brand since 2019. The brand has shown immense trust in her and didn’t leave her side even after the Richardson missed Tokyo Olympics for a failed dope test. Now it’s time for her to give back.
