In 2015, she bettered her record by 0.5 seconds to clock 10.74 seconds. This time she would be even more determined, needing 1.1 seconds to script history. However, given the toll age takes, overtaking a fellow Jamaican will still be a tremendous achievement. Nonetheless, it would be nostalgic to see her bid farewell after the Olympics, seeing the undying legacy she’s left behind, a maxim for aspiring sprinters to envision.
