On December 9th Chris Chavez took to his handle and added a new post adding breaking information for track fans. The post states, “World Athletics has announced the dates for the following events: 2025 World Athletics Road Running Championships in San Diego, California on Sept. 26-28, 2025″. It does not end here.

The post also highlighted, “The 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo are set for Sept. 13-21, 2025”. It reveals that World Athletics has consulted with several athletes who would be expecting to compete in these championships. The athletes “were overwhelmingly in favor of being able to complete the season as soon as possible after the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25”, claims the post.

Raising the excitement further, the post ends with, “2026 World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida on Jan. 10, 2026″. Amidst this excitement, questions however linger on the status of Russian athletes at the upcoming Paris Olympics.
