In the Paris Olympics year, Noah Lyles is “coming for all.” The six-time world champion has promised to bring his A-game to win medals and set world records on the track. His showmanship was on full display at the US Olympic trials at Hayward Field, where his trick with Yu-Gi-Oh cards captured the attention of every track sports enthusiast. Now, Noah Lyles aims to elevate his presence not only with his performances but also by engaging his fans in his journey. His latest partnership with Alltroo confirms this intent.

On July 11, Alltroo, a fundraising organization, shared an Instagram post featuring Noah Lyles practicing on the track. The caption revealed that the athlete is offering fans a chance to meet him and his brother, Josephus Lyles, at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston. To participate, individuals must visit Alltroo’s website and support Noah and Josephus’ sports foundation. And to everyone’s surprise, the gift is not only the meeting chance with the sprinting duo. There’s something more waiting for the fortunate ones.

As Alltroo’s website adds to, the winner will get an offer to join the Lyles brothers and other athletes from the New Balance Boston Grand Prix 2024 in a sumptuous dinner party. And the celebration will extend as the winner will receive a pair of signed Adidas spikes and a shopping spree, valued at $1000. So, the winner will find the best chance to touch everything that he or she could think of in the wild dream. Meanwhile, for Noah Lyles and his brother, it will be a chance to meet one of their biggest fans who also prefers to be with their noble cause, The Lyles Brothers Sports Foundation (LBSF).

Notably, The Lyles Brothers Sports Foundation works on empowering the youth, focusing on health and wellness. The non-profit organization also extends its helping hand to athletes who are suffering from mental health issues, financial well-being, and bullying. Thus, LBSF wants to bridge the gap between the communities in the society or help to build the athletic dream for an aspiring youth. Now, collaborating with Alltroo, the organization wants to speed up the fundraising process. In the meantime, the winner’s name will be announced on October 23 this year, much later than the Paris Olympics. So whom the winner might meet? A Tokyo Olympics medalist Noah Lyles or Noah Lyles, the history maker?

Noah Lyles is on his way to make history

Noah Lyles had been set to enter the Monaco Diamond League in the 200m event. But he and his team put out a statement hours before, concerning that he will not show up in the contest. But the ultimate lines dropped later as he added, “My coach, my entire team and I are very pleased with what we were able to achieve at the US Olympic Trials in Eugene, however, in order to put myself in the best possible position to succeed in Paris, we have decided to spend an extra week at our training base in Florida before traveling to Europe.” So is that the calmness before the storm?

Well, for Noah Lyles, it may be calmness between the storms. Just two weeks ago, he exemplified that storm by creating records in the US Olympic track and field trials. In 100m, his timing lifted him among the world-leads this season while his 200m timing made him the world-lead. Alongside that, Noah Lyles has been named to the 4x100m Olympic relay pool as well. But in the 4x400m, he remains absent. But will that hinder his entry into the final relay lineup?

Another problem could be the date of the 4x100m event’s selection round in the Paris Olympics as it is between the 200m semifinal and the final in the men’s category. That is another issue to look into. But Noah is adamant about his target- to make the four gold medals in the Paris Olympics. On this note, his statement may give an outlook: “I have the personality, I have the speed, I have the showmanship, I have the marketing mindset. I’m willing to be uncomfortable.” Let’s wait a few more weeks to have a view on that level of being ‘uncomfortable’.
