Other than Noah Lyles, gracing us on the screen will be Sha’Carri Richardson. She is one of the faces of the series and it will follow her journey to becoming the fastest woman in the world. Richardson is also very much on the path of redemption to the Paris 2024 Games after the 2021 fiasco. During that year, she had to skip the Games due to a failed drug test and the series will delve a little into that as well. For the Olympics she is a favorite in the 100m event and recently posted the fifth fastest score in the event with 10.65 seconds. Furthermore, there will be Fred Kerley who won the silver in both the 100m and the 2022 100m events in Tokyo.
Outside of the USA, we can expect to see Shericka Jackson, who is a multi-medalist in the 100m and 200m category. As well as Dina Asher of the UK who was the 2019 world champion in the 200m event. It will feature Gabby Thomas and Christian Coleman from the USA as well. Who were the Tokyo 200m silver medalist and the 2019 100m world champion respectively. Lastly on SPRINT audiences will see Marie-Joseé Ta Lou from the Ivory Coast. She is the 2019 Bronze medalist in the 100m. By the lineup, it’s evident that Netflix did their homework before the series, and only chose only the most deserving track and field athletes.
