It has been a dream run for Noah Lyles in 2023 so far. The 27-year-old American has achieved some significant milestones this year. Now this current double world champion is sweating it out in the training sessions to wrap up the rest of the season on a high note. However, he sent shockwaves when there was news that Lyles had decided not to compete at the Diamond League finals and was looking to end the 2023 season with a victory in Zurich. Now he is back and has been training with his coach, Lance Brauman, for the past few days to be in the best shape ahead of the big Diamond League final aka Prefontaine Classic.

This five-time Diamond League champion will be stepping on the track on September 17 to defend his 200-meter title. Lyles has been posting his training sessions on social media quite frequently, which underscores the fact that this American will be coming on Sunday with all guns blazing. Expanding on this, a track and field enthusiast has shared insights into his training sessions, along with a thrilling drill video where he appears incredibly motivated.

The video was posted by Track Spice, who are known for their extensive coverage of track and field events. In the video, Lyles can be observed undergoing training with his coach, wearing a resistance harness strapped to his back as he vigorously sprints. The video was captioned, “Noah Lyles back in the lab with Coach Lance Brauman for the Finals.” The “finals” here refer to the forthcoming Diamond League finals scheduled for Sunday.

Apart from this, Lyles himself is also an active social media user, and he keeps sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of his training sessions. A few months back, he shared a video of himself training with the caption, “Catch me outside 8.06 80m off the turn.” Lyles will be participating in the 100-meter and 200-meter heats. He will be stepping on the track as the defending champion in the 200-meter event while likely aiming to win the 100-meter event.

However, this Florida-based sprinter will not be participating at the regular Diamond League season stop in Brussels on Thursday. Ever since he won the double world championship title last month and then the 200-meter heat at the Zurich Diamond League, Lyles has been mostly involved in training himself for the upcoming challenges.
