After stacking up golds at the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, Tara Davis-Woodhall and her husband, Hunter Woodhall, have hit pause. They are finally off on vacation. After months of following their hectic schedules and training regimen, the celebrations are finally here. And how are they celebrating? Tara Davis and Hunter are in Vegas, showing the world they know how to have fun, too!
The Olympian-Paralympian duo was seen dancing and cheering amidst the crowds at XS Las Vegas! And their party guide? None other than DJ Diplo himself. Tara and the two flooded Instagram with videos and pictures of them dancing the night away with their Olympic and Paralympic medals still around their necks. But, of course, this hiatus is not all about neon lights and letting loose. It comes after huge athletic wins and a bit of drama, too!
Hunter Woodhall recently had a very public disappointment despite winning a Paralympic gold. The controversy pot online stirred with Hunter’s issues over a failed docuseries pitch. Hunter was recently on a quest to capture Tara Davis-Woodhall and his journey on film. The two were met with critics online who went on to label Tara and Hunter “bratty” and “entitled.” The troll train saw it as a mere PR tactic to get more media attention and coverage. Others went on to compare the couple’s effort to sprinter Noah Lyles and his more successful self-promotion.

Shriners Children’s Hospital is where Hunter first dreamt of becoming a paralympian. Despite having to have his legs amputated at just 11 months due to fibular hemimelia, the Shriners team pushed him to dream. This recent visit marked a full-circle moment for the couple. Alongside Tara, the two spent the day with the kids, signed autographs, and even competed in friendly races.
Hunter was moved by the day, took it to Instagram, and wrote, “Can’t express how grateful I am to return as Paralympic Champion and share the importance of dreaming big and working hard. These kids are the future.” Their time in Utah perfectly encapsulates who Tara and Hunter are at the very core!
