But the trip to Utah wasn’t just about lacrosse. For Hunter Woodhall, this was a chance to return to where it all began. The Shriners Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City!

Shriners Children’s Hospital is where Hunter first dreamt of becoming a paralympian. Despite having to have his legs amputated at just 11 months due to fibular hemimelia, the Shriners team pushed him to dream. This recent visit marked a full-circle moment for the couple. Alongside Tara, the two spent the day with the kids, signed autographs, and even competed in friendly races.

Hunter was moved by the day, took it to Instagram, and wrote, “Can’t express how grateful I am to return as Paralympic Champion and share the importance of dreaming big and working hard.
