Terry Crews unites Olympians and athletes—could this redefine sports entertainment as we know it?

Terry Crews has quite the unique take on his seven-year NFL career—he calls it “disappointing” and even labels it a “circus.” Ouch! But don’t think for a second that Crews stopped following sports. Nope, he’s still got a foot in the game. In fact, his agency, Super Serious, is gearing up to host Super Series On Sight—a head-to-head showdown between Olympic sprinters and pro athletes. And things are heating up!

The main event? None other than NFL’s Cheetah Tyreek Hill vs. World’s Fastest Man, Olympic champion, Noah Lyles. Yes, the same one that Tyreek and Noah have been in a bit of a trash-talking battle since the latter’s Paris Olympic stint. What started as some fiery back-and-forth has turned into the ultimate showdown.

In an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer, reigning Olympic champ Noah Lyles hinted at the brewing showdown with Tyreek Hill, saying, “We’re in talks.” While all this back-and-forth was simmering, Terry Crews swooped in with a game-changing idea: a league that brings Olympians and pro athletes together for the first time ever. And credit will go to him for giving Lyles and Hill the needed platform to lock horns against each other. However, this surprise wasn’t the only one the 56-year-old television star had up his sleeve.

As if the excitement couldn’t get any higher, last night Noah Lyles dropped some personal news of his own. He reportedly proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Junelle Bromfield, on October 12. To extend the merriment, Noah shared the news on his Instagram handle with the caption, “To My Future Wife I Will Love You Forever💍.” The admirers couldn’t contain excitement after seeing the sprinter’s love-filled update. Rather, they lined up in the comment box to wish the couple well. Meanwhile, Terry Crews has also joined them.

In the comment section, The Expendables star wrote, CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS!!!!❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” A reply from Noah has not come yet. But the lines will surely fill his heart with warmth. There is another star from the glamor world who marked his attendance in the comment box, wishing the couple well. He is none other than Taylor Lautner. With the many other athletes penning their wishes for Noah and Junelle, the Twilight famed actor put his comment: “LETS GO.” That encapsulates the current Olympic champion’s persona in the entertainment industry.

Furthermore, it shows the support the couple is having despite facing hatred from online trolls. Over the past several months, the couple has been on the receiving end of some nasty comments, but time and again, they’ve stood strong, tearing down every attack with grace and resilience. But here’s where things get even more interesting—Terry Crews’ support for Noah could be a double bonanza for the sprinter. Why?

Terry Crews’s updates for Noah Lyles are determined to attract a lot of eyes to the latter. The Hollywood star brings a sizable chunk of limelight with him and his agency is going to host something unforeseen. In the meantime, Lyles has earned a spot in the first iteration of Crews’ tournament. That backs Noah’s avatar being the face of track and field sports. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has met another demand made by the six-time world champion.

In his conversation interaction on the Comcast Campus in Philadelphia this year, Noah flaunted his mindset to compete with Tyreek Hill on the track. But subsequently, he also expressed the requirement of such events. In an unapologetic tone, he commented, “This needs to be the highest level because that’s how America is. When we do something in entertainment, we do it to the highest level.”

He further added that his event needs to be celebrated and aired properly. “I’m talking this is going to be boxing style with undercards, betting, big sponsors, Vegas, LA, Miami something that will bring in a big crowd with TV production,” he added for clarification. With Terry Crews backing this whole operation, it’s no surprise that Noah is already on board, having signed the contract. That’s how Noah’s rolling these days—winning on all fronts.
