A part of the Vogue August 2024 issue, highlights that Richardson finds Beyonce an inspiration for her signature fingernails. She says, “Do I like Beyoncé? Of course I like Beyoncé. And Cowboy Carter, I mean, I went to Carter High School, in Dallas, we were the Carter Cowboys, so it’s full circle, Beyoncé, she’s a Texas girl like me….” Making her fascination for Beyonce’s studio album Cowboy Carter clear, Richardson links to how she went to Carter High School herself. Moreover, they hail from the same native. Thus, there seems to be more than one commonality between the two.

The magazine issue further states, “When Richardson rhapsodizes about her family, she goes a mile a minute, as if that’s how she expresses love—through speed.” And Texas to her indeed is of a similar sentimental value as her family. Recently, in May 2024, in an interview with Essence.com, Richardson had said that she feels their slogan is “Go big or go home.” And this is something they wholeheartedly believe in. “If you’re not going to do it to your fullest, you shouldn’t do it at all,” mentioned the world 100m champion.
