It’s been years since Michael Phelps left professional swimming, yet he remains the face of the sport globally. Creating history, he became the first athlete to win 28 Olympic medals. Even though he is past his professional days, there’s no stopping him from staying fit.

Recently Phelps lost his father. Since the untimely demise of his father, the swimming GOAT has been mourning. However, moving forward with life, the Baltimore Express has now made a comeback. Phelps recently posted a working video on his official Instagram, sending inspiration to his fans, with a special message attached.

Phelps shares his video

Michael Phelps posted a video with the caption, “Working on grip strength and some shoulder health?cups? They’re just a part of the process????” The shared video has been well received by the fans. The post has already received a lot of likes and comments.

In the video, Phelps can be seen performing a dead hang with one hand. The legend, with the bare body, sports a short pony tale. He is very focused and is seen concentrating on the exercise. This is, however, not the first time Phelps has shared his working out the video.

The Olympic gold medalist has repeatedly shared his working-out videos with fans. Phelps’ fans love to see their favorite in action. Since his professional days, he has been very particular about his exercise. He aimed to become the best of the best and left no stone unturned to reach the feat.

Michael Phelps work out routine during his prime?

Before diving into the pool, Phelps would start his day with a warm-up. He would usually divide his warm-up sessions into four sections to ensure that he has properly warmed his body. Post, which he would begin with his intense workouts. He would henceforth spend hours in the pool, practicing and perfecting his strokes and skills.

However, contrary to popular opinion, Phelps would not spend his hours in the pool. He also ensured to spend to hit the gym at least three days a week. He would regularly work out to ensure that he perfects his muscle mass and his body remains flexible enough to continue swimming.
