Michael Phelps once gave baby tips to Serena Williams

During an interview, the interviewer asked the legendary American swimmer, whether he would like to share any baby tips with Serena Williams, and the new parents. Replying to this question, Phelps said, “For me, in the beginning stages of it, I was training and preparing for the games and then after the games, I took it head-on.”

Further, he went on to add, “I think the biggest thing and the coolest thing that Nicole and I experienced was we were able to actually go through these things together, and learn things together.”

Concluding his remarks, Phelps said, “Everyone tries to give you parenting tips, but I think it’s really you have to go through the process, you have to try to understand what you’re baby is trying to tell you, and just learn along the way.”

Serena came to know about her pregnancy before the Australian Open

Within days from the start of the 2017 Australian Open, Serena discovered about her pregnancy. Nonetheless, she went on to participate in the year-opening Grand Slam tournament. She defeated her elder sister, Venus Williams in the summit clash to clinch her 23rd Grand Slam title.

Serena took a maternity leave from tennis after her Australian Open exploits. In September that year, she gave birth to her daughter, Olympia. Now five years old, Olympia shares a strong bond with her parents and often shares glimpses of her adorable moments on social media.
