Among the array of stars such as Siobhan Bernadette Haughey, Claire Curzan, Daniel Wiffen, and Tomoru Honda was Sam Williamson, who knocked Adam Peaty and Nic Fink off the lead in the men’s 50-meter breaststroke. Sharing his thoughts behind the incredible moment, Sam Williamson shared how he had grown up watching the icons Nic Fink, Adam Peaty, and Nicolo Martinenghi’s races and said, “They’re my heroes.” He revealed the overwhelming awe of just being able to brush shoulders with them.

How did Sam Williamson manage to beat the icons?
