The favorite holiday of all, Christmas, is around the corner and the sports community is revelling in it. Almost all the athletes of Team USA hopeful for the Paris Olympics and Paris Paralympics have revealed their cherished memories of Christmas. Of late, the X Mas festivities that ensued grappled with US athletes.

All the renowned athletes eagerly await to witness this special time and have different perceptions of the holiday. Stars like Sha’carri Richardson, Ryan Murphy, and multiple others spoke their heart out at a prestigious ceremony with wide smiles on their face.

The US athletes drop tidbits about Christmas

The NBC Olympics & Paralympics took to their X account to share some of the clips of the top-notch athletes talking about their favorite thing about Christmas. The caption to this post carried, “Did you catch @TeamUSA athletes during @nbc’s Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony?” They further added, “These #ParisOlympics and #ParisParalympics hopefuls shared their favorite things about the holidays”.

Starting with the seven-time Olympic gold medalist and the legendary swimming prodigy Katie Ledecky. She expressed the way she celebrates Christmas, and it has always been an important festival in her family. They always used to visit North Dakota where her grandparents lived so that they could celebrate the festival together.

Then the Diving Olympic medalist Andrew Capobianco expressed that he loves giving presents to his near and dear ones. He stated, “I also love receiving presents, but I do truly love giving presents more, and I think I am really good at it”. Along with them, multiple other famous athletes embraced the succour of the yuletide spirit.

The other Olympic athletes gear up for Paris 2024 amid Christmas jubilance

After Katie Ledecky, Asher Hong, Andrew Capobianco, other outstanding athletes from multiple domains expressed their feelings about Christmas at the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony as well. Another Paris Olympic hopeful athlete, the track and field star Anna Hall, gave a very heartwarming message. She expressed, “I think Christmas is the most special time of the year.” Brittni Mason quipped, – Spending time with family and being around loved ones is super important for me”.

Following her, the swimming household face and the six-time Olympic medalist Ryan Murphy expressed that for him Christmas is the most favorite time of the year, and he loves the fact that everybody gets to spend time together. In the end, the track and field sensation Sha’Carri Richardson expressed, that holidays for her are about thankfulness, and are all about embracing unity. There’s a lot going ahead in store for this doyen of Paris 2024 hopefuls.
