In Knoxville, the TYR Pro swimming championship saw very American swimmers holding their bastion without a mark a few days ago. Olympic champion Katie Ledecky leads the path. However, the same route would keep Nic Fink in a respected position. The engineer-turned-swimmer didn’t show high-handedness in trying uncommon events except for his much-demonstrated breaststroke.

Maintaining his 9-to-5 job, the FINA World medalist never made swimming his occasional love. Rather, for a lion’s share of his career, Fink carried out a staunch training program in Bauerle swimming camp.
