The 200 m LC butterfly in the TYR Pro Swim Series 2024 sparked interest in the movements of Summer McIntosh. The Canadian teenager opted out from the prized tussle with Katie Ledecky in the 400m free, which she mastered for the last few seasons.

But that couldn’t degrade her, as the world champion is thoroughly waiting to inflict her best performance in the fly discipline. Last year in Fukuoka, McIntosh earned her second world title with a stellar timing of 2:04.06 in the 200m butterfly. That stint repeated this time in Knoxville as well. But the contention took an extra height with the presence of American prosperity, Emma Sticklen from the University of Texas. So the duo took the obvious positions in the ranking list with consecutive berths.

The Swimming Twitter CEO, Kyle Sockwell, added a whole scenario of the ranking with an X-caption, “2024 is going to be a wild year of swimming. This TYR Pro Series meet is stupidly fast.”  This time McIntosh took 2:05.73 to overcome Sticklen’s challenge. However, the latter was nowhere near the World Champion in the pool, while McIntosh was touching the yellow line.

That has become a habit of the 17-year-old swimmer. The American swimming possibilities from motivated programs thoroughly crowded the lineup on the opponent list. But, here is Summer McIntosh, always making sure to take the spotlight through her incredible spree
